LinkedIn is a very interesting place to research and analyze any business or, collaborate with others in the industry. I am very new to the LinkedIn enviroment and still observing the whole site and try to take it all in. It is very amazing to be able to connect with someone anywhere in the world to discuss topics of the field of interest or profession. This is a useful tool for anyone who wishes to research and company or industry. I plan on using it to connect to different students, and anyone in an entry level position with any companies in the Computer Science community. I also like the fact of being able to connect to Twitter and expand my circle of possible connections of people to network with around the world. This will really be extremely helpful as I get into my upper level core classes and I can communicate more effectively with ours in the computer science field. Gaining more knowledge and insight by collaborating with a great number of people will be very rewarding. Sharing ideas and discussing topics with others of different backgrounds will be interesting.
For example, I came across this rather interesting, yet bizarre article from LinkedIn. The article is entitled " Do the dead outnumber the living?"(3 February 2012 Last updated at 19:42 ET By Wesley Stephenson BBC News) . Just something to discuss with coworker or fellow students. Or just another piece of useless trivia.

Or another interesting article in CNNMoney about IBM's now famous supercomputer Watson, that was featured on Jeopardy. Article February 3, 2012.
